There are many reasons children at Kitiwah Place Early Learning Centre are smiling, happy and confident. Kitiwah strives to deliver high quality early education and care for all children within a supportive, local community.

Not only is it one of Queensland’s leading education settings, the centre is also a place of wonder, encouragement and play. The centre has very experienced early childhood educators and teachers who assist children to learn and investigate through their work, their play. Proprietor Erin Morris expressed that their fully qualified teachers and educators are selected for their experience, confidence and enthusiasm to work with young children.

Kitiwah has large, natural outdoor play spaces where children can play, run, ride, bounce and explore. These include the grassy oval, multi-purpose court, bike tracks, climbing obstacles, vegetable garden, chicken enclosure and running waterfall and stream. All of these experiences help to get our little bodies moving which is vital for lifelong learning.

Children who go to Kindergarten (Pre-Prep) are better prepared for school thanks to the learning opportunities, experiences and friendships they enjoy at Kindergarten (Pre-Prep). Kitiwah offers 2 Old Government Approved Kindergartens for 4-5 year old children and endeavours to prepare your child for their transition to formal schooling.

The absolute highest government rating was achieved the last time we went through assessment and rating, so you can rest assured knowing that your child is in great hands.

Kitiwah has 2 approved kindergarten programs provided for children in the year before Prep (i.e. turning 5 before the 30th of June). We specialise in learning through our play and preparing your child for Prep through our school readiness program.
